Education /Experience: I graduated from the University of Akron in 2017 with my BSN, and have worked in the hospital setting for four years before joining the Fine Arts team. I have known I wanted to be a nurse from a young age. My younger brother was born with cerebral palsy so I had the opportunity to witness the great care nurses gave not only him, but my whole family. I knew from that time that I wanted to help people have the same positive medical experience and feel the same compassion those nurses showed my family.
Why Fine Arts? I have always loved the side of nursing that allows you to build relationships with patients. Working at Fine Arts has allowed me to get to know so many wonderful people and be a part of their journey to look and feel their best. Seeing our patients’ confidence grow will always be one of my favorite parts of this job! The staff here is also like a second family and make every day at work the best!
Family: My husband Cody and I got married in July of 2019. We are working on completing the final touches of our home that Cody built from the ground up! We are also proud dog parents to our two german shepherds, Samantha and Ozzy.
Hobbies: One of my favorite hobbies in running! I love running in 5ks and have completed a half marathon. Every summer my family holds the Run For Zack 5k race to raise money for a scholarship in my brother’s memory as well! My husband and I also enjoy being outdoors, scuba diving in different tropical locations, and spending time with our family and friends.
What Matters: Quality time and making memories with family and friends is so important to me. Faith in God is what guides my husband and I’s lives, and we are incredibly grateful for the people and relationships we have been blessed with!
