Tamela S. Sanderson
Education / Experience: I’m a registered nurse with an ACLS / PALS certification. I have over ten years of operating room experience, along with two years of surgical intensive care. I’m grateful for my time as a traveling OR nurse, which enabled me to see new people and techniques all over the US and the Virgin Islands.
Why Fine Arts?: I cherish our clients, and love being part of the process by which how they feel on the inside becomes visible on the outside. One procedure can cause a transformation! And I love working with a surgeon who not only has exceptional medical talent, but also an artistic eye to see what many other surgeons cannot.
Family: My children, Justin and Brittany Sue, are my absolute pride and joy, both of them married to amazing spouses who are a gift to our family. Domenick, my love, is my best friend, my rock, and my comic relief. And his daughter, Alex, is an amazing young lady with so much promise for her future.
Hobbies: I love being with my family; we travel, cook, camp, and play games.
What Matters: My faith in God keeps me safe and secure, as I tend to be a worrier, which I’m sure amuses Him. I try hard to remember that I’m where He wants me to be, doing what He wants me to do, living the very life that He has for me.
Education / Experience: I attended National Beauty College in Canton, and am certified in advanced facials, body treatments, and full body relaxation massage.
Why Fine Arts?: My favorite part of what I do is getting the chance to see clients’ confidence grow after every visit as they let their inner beauty show on the outside. I also love working in a goal-oriented workplace like Fine Arts where I can utilize my strengths in customer service to help the company succeed.
Family: I am married to my husband, Doug, and together we raise three children: my stepson Lane, Jensen, and Allie.
Hobbies: My hobbies outside of work include family time around the campfire, reading, and gardening.
What Matters: My faith guides me in life and is an important principle I want to instill in my children. Christ, family, and friends are the most important things in my life.
Education/Experience: I attended Aveda Institute in Columbus, OH. While there, I took every opportunity to attend advanced classes. I also took on leadership roles in the school, including mentoring younger students. I am certified in advanced facials, full body relaxation massages, and body treatments, such as SculpSure.
Why Fine Arts?: I love being a part of Fine Arts! The people I work with are amazing, and the clients I meet are unforgettable. I cherish being able to help my clients with their skin care and body needs. I get so much satisfaction when they leave feeling beautiful and confident.
Hobbies: I love hanging out with my friends and family every chance I get.
What Matters: My faith is very important to me. I’m constantly reminded how grateful I should be for all the people and opportunities in my life. I also realize the importance of giving back. I enjoy helping others and this job gives me the perfect opportunity to do so.
Patient Care Coordinator
Education / Experience: In addition to being a registered Medical Assistant in the State of Ohio, I’ve gleaned knowledge and experience from a variety of training programs in skin rejuvenation, chemical peeling procedures, aesthetic medicine, and various skin care products. These educational opportunities have taken me all over the state and country to learn from the best in the industry. Why Fine Arts?: I enjoy utilizing my training and knowledge in skin care to make people feel better about themselves; I see their self esteem improve as a direct result of the services we offer. It makes coming to work my passion, not just a job.
Family: My husband, Mark, has been the love of my life for 25 years. Our greatest accomplishments are our sons, Chad and Corey, who have blessed us with 3 amazing grandchildren: Miranda, Marley, and Sawyer. Rounding out the family are our four-legged friends, Zoey, Harley, Gracie, and Otis.
Hobbies: I love spending time on our mini farm, raising our chickens, gathering their eggs, and teaching our grandchildren how to get back to the basics of nature. I also enjoy hiking, motorcycling, and spending time with my family and good friends.
What Matters: I love helping people. Whether serving as the liaison between Navy wives and our Ships’ Captain, in the education of those with developmental disabilities, or now – as the Patient Care Coordinator for Fine Arts – I cherish the opportunities I have to care for and make life easier for those around me.
Client Communications Coordinator
Education / Experience: I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Miami University and my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
Why Fine Arts?: I was first introduced to Fine Arts Skin & Laser as a client and I was so impressed with Dr. Hartman’s sincerity and knowledge, as well as the kind and attentive staff. I remember the overwhelming feeling of joy when an aesthetic concern that had bothered me for years was resolved. I find it so rewarding to watch our clients go through that same experience. I consider it a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful team. What we do here really is life-changing.
Family: I have been married to my husband for 18 years. He and our three children mean the world to me. I count my blessings every day!
Hobbies: We live on a lake so much of our free time is spent on the water. We are always up for a swim in the lake or boat ride with friends and family. I also enjoy design and construction. My husband is very handy so I am always planning the next home project. Golfing, dancing and reading are other activities I like to do in my free time.
What Matters: Faith, family and friends are the most important things in my life. My relationship with God is what drives me to be a good, honest person. I want to raise my kids to be kind, truthful and hardworking. My family and friends are my rock and I strive to show them every day how much I appreciate and love them.
Education / Experience: I received my BA from Lehigh University, and my MA from New York University.
Why Fine Arts?: I love witnessing the emotional transformation that happens in a patient after treatment – the new sense of well-being and confidence. For that to happen at Fine Arts, the staff also needs to be taken care of so that they can serve our patients. I take great joy in operating behind the scenes to support Dr. Hartman and the staff; I love learning ways to make our practice run more efficiently and be a more pleasant place to work and visit.
Family: I have been married to David since 2001, and I love supporting him and partnering with him in his dream. I’m so proud to watch him meld his artistic passions with his surgical skills to create Fine Arts Skin & Laser. Together, we have two wonderful children – Lucy and Jonas.
Hobbies: I love my kids! I often end up shooting hoops and playing soccer with Jonas (though I’m awful); Lucy, my hang out buddy, is content to just sit and talk. There’s often nothing better than relaxing on the porch, talking with friends as our kids play happily in the yard. I’m fascinated with food and when I find the time, I read cookbooks obsessively. I also love music, though I’m not singing as much as I’d like. Active with New Pointe Community Church, I volunteer as a women’s small group leader and serve on the Sunday check-in team.
What Matters: I’m constantly learning about who God is and His love for people. It’s important to me to grow in my relationship with Him. I fail all the time in being obedient, but I’m trying to “fail forward” and not beat myself up when I make mistakes. I want my kids to know about God’s boundless love for them.
