The Team at Fine Arts Skin & Laser - Group of Professionals

Meet Alanna Erwin

Medical Assistant

Education/Experience: I am a certified Medical Assistant and began my career at Union Hospital Cleveland Clinic. I enjoyed the fast pace of the emergency room and loved providing care to the patients in need.

Why Fine Arts? I started working on Dr. Hartman’s ENT side of his practice where I witnessed his love and passion for his patients. When I was asked to help on the Fine Arts side, I was ecstatic! Our team is amazing and I love witnessing the confidence Dr. Hartman instills in his clients.

Family: I have been married for 5 years to my amazing husband Russ. Together we have two beautiful (and ornery) daughters, Lily and Gianna. We cannot forget about our loving dog Nala who completes our family.

Hobbies: My hobbies include making memories with my family, being outdoors, and going on dates with my husband.

What Matters: Spending quality time with my family! Always loving deeply and my passion for helping others.

Kylie Fondriest

Why Fine Arts? I considered this place a dream job when I walked through the doors at Fine Arts Skin and Laser. I instantly loved the energy, the confidence I felt, and the excellent service provided. It made me very intrigued to learn more about the Aesthetic industry. I love watching our client's confidence grow through each appointment and building friendships with each and every one. I feel so lucky and blessed to come to work each day.

Family In my personal life, I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two sweet kiddos. We love being outdoors and active as a family.

Hobbies I am passionate about being involved in the community. For the last couple of years, my kids and I have delivered Meals on Wheels to the elderly. I am also very passionate about animals and feel honored to be on the Committee for fundraising at the Tuscarawas Humane Society.

Meet Meghan Gordon

Education /Experience: I graduated from the University of Akron in 2017 with my BSN, and have worked in the hospital setting for four years before joining the Fine Arts team. I have known I wanted to be a nurse from a young age. My younger brother was born with cerebral palsy so I had the opportunity to witness the great care nurses gave not only him but my whole family. I knew from that time that I wanted to help people have the same positive medical experience and feel the same compassion those nurses showed my family.

Why Fine Arts? I have always loved the side of nursing that allows you to build relationships with patients. Working at Fine Arts has allowed me to get to know so many wonderful people and be a part of their journey to look and feel their best. Seeing our patients’ confidence grow will always be one of my favorite parts of this job! The staff here is also like a second family and make every day at work the best!

Family: My husband Cody and I got married in July of 2019. We are working on completing the final touches of our home that Cody built from the ground up! We are also proud dog parents to our two german shepherds, Samantha and Ozzy.

Hobbies: One of my favorite hobbies is running! I love running in 5ks and have completed a half marathon. Every summer my family holds the Run For Zack 5k race to raise money for a scholarship in my brother’s memory as well! My husband and I also enjoy being outdoors, scuba diving in different tropical locations, and spending time with our family and friends.

What Matters: Quality time and making memories with family and friends is so important to me. Faith in God is what guides my husband and I’s lives, and we are incredibly grateful for the people and relationships we have been blessed with!

Meet Melissa Hartman

Chief Financial Officer, MA

Education/Experience: I received my BA from Lehigh University and my MA from New York University.

Why Fine Arts? I love witnessing the emotional transformation that happens in a client after a rejuvenation package treatment – seeing the new sense of well-being and confidence. For that to happen with every client, the staff also needs to be taken care of – and that’s my job. I take great joy in operating behind the scenes to support the team; I love fine-tuning Fine Arts Skin & Laser to provide exceptional client satisfaction (we call it the “Wow” experience) and still be an exceedingly pleasant place to work.

Family: I have been married to David since 2001, and I love collaborating with him on this adventure. I’m so proud to watch him meld his artistic talents, remarkable patient-care instincts, and outstanding surgical skills to create Fine Arts Skin & Laser. Together, we have two wonderful children – Lucy and Jonas.

Hobbies: I love my kids! I often end up shooting hoops and playing soccer with Jonas (though I’m awful); Lucy, my hang-out buddy, is content to just sit and talk – she loves to write fiction and aspires to be a novelist one day. There’s nothing better than relaxing on the front porch and visiting with friends as our kids play happily in the yard. I’m fascinated with food and when I find the time, I read cookbooks obsessively. I also love music, though I’m not singing as much as I’d like. Active with New Pointe Community Church, I volunteer as a women’s small group leader and serve on the Sunday check-in team.

What matters: I’m constantly learning about who God is and His love for people. It’s important to me to grow in my relationship with Him. I fail all the time, but am trying to “fail forward” and not beat myself up when I make mistakes. I want my kids to know about God’s boundless love for them.

Meet Cathy Hochstetler

Registered Nurse, RN

I’m Cathy!

I feel so incredibly honored to be a part of the Fine Arts Skin and Laser Family!

Education I have been a registered nurse since 2006. My clinical experience includes adult and pediatric emergency medicine, critical care, specializing in trauma, burns, reconstructive surgery, cardiovascular ICU, medical ICU, ocular and facial plastics as well as general plastic surgery.

Family I recently relocated back to the area after spending 6 years in Florida so I could be closer to family. I am a single Mom to two boys, Peyton and Alexander. I also have a Cockapoo, Pipa who is my little bestie. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being on or near the water, fashion, home decor, landscaping and photography. I also enjoy traveling and love exploring spas throughout the US.

Why aesthetics? First and foremost, because I love everything about it! I love beauty, health, and wellness, but most of all, I love helping others and bringing joy to others lives.

Hobbies I enjoy combining my artistic eye, attention to detail, creativity, and strong clinical background with the art and science of medicine to help patients reach their health, wellness and beauty goals. Whether patients experienced significant weight loss and are concerned about skin laxity, sustained trauma and their physical appearance has been affected as a result or they are simply seeking a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance due to the aging process - aesthetics allows me to help everyone.

A few of my favorite services at Fine Arts Skin and Laser are the facials, medical grade skin care products, dermal fillers, and neuromodulators. The Opus laser has done wonders for the texture of my skin and has essentially removed the deep scars on my face.

I was recently injected with our bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, BioTE. It has been a week since being pelleted and I am already noticing an improvement in my overall energy level and mental clarity! I am looking forward to seeing an ongoing improvement in my health and wellness.

What I love most about Fine Arts Skin and Laser is not only the services we offer but the friends I have made in a very short time. Not only do I feel like an addition to a wonderful family, but truly a part of one of the most amazing teams I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and who I am. I invite you to stop by and say hello or send me a message. At Fine Arts Skin and Laser, we love and value our patients and look forward to serving you in the coming years!

We enjoy cooking together, traveling and spending time with friends and family as much as possible. We just bought a puppy, Benji (a mini bernedoodle), and we love taking him on hikes and walks. I am also a huge book nerd and love to sit down and read any chance I get.

What matters At Fine Arts there is a service or product for anyone and everyone. We have so many great treatments to choose from. My favorites though are the JetPeel facial and our iS Clinical skincare products. Both have been a huge help in clearing my skin. Not only do I get the pleasure of seeing people leave with confidence they didn’t know they had but I get to witness firsthand the phenomenal work Dr. Hartman and our staff perform.
